Introducing the Avant-Garde Bag: the ultimate vegan warrior that slays outdated beliefs that vegans miss out on delicious food and beautiful leather goods.
To create this bag we left nothing to chance. We've had the pleasure to work with a few of our longest Vegan Leather Co. customers to create this bag. Over the years they have been relentlessly nagging us to add a handbag to our collection that can carry their everyday essentials in.
The overall criteria has been: four sections, zip closure, slip phone pocket for easy access, strong straps plus the bag must be durable & beautiful. We also wanted a strap that was interchangable from a shoulder bag for nights out and a crossbody strap for travel.
My only regret with this bag is that I didn't make it sooner. I've been using it every day to take it for a test run & refine it's features. It's finally got a collective tick of approval and we can release it out into the wild in our new Piñatex Pineapple Leather colours Amazon and Espresso as well as our classic Cactus Leather in Night.

I love my Olive Green Tote. It is just the right size to fit everything in without being too bulky. The internal and outside pockets keep me organised. The cactus leather handles are amazing.

I absolutely LOVE my crossbody bag! It's sturdy, well-constructed of high-quality material, spacious, and just the right size. I love that it has a short strap to make it a clutch purse as well as a longer one to make it a crossbody bag. The brass attachments and cactus symbol give it an elegant touch. And, most importantly, it's vegan! Can't wait to make another purchase from this company and watch them grow :)
It took a little longer to receive, but it was worth the wait! The size is perfect and the quality of the purse is very good. I will definitely purchase more from them in the future!
Nice shape and useful sections with zips and magnets. I ordered this one as it was the biggest one available, but as it's a bit small it'll be more of an occasional use handbag. I would love one a bit bigger to be able to put more in it and use day-to-day. But I was stoked to find a non-leather alternative to plastics - so am happy to have supported the business. I haven't yet used it enough to see how it wears, so can't comment on that.
I think everything about this bag is beautiful! The vegan leather and fun lining are perfect and the shape of the bag is classic! The only thing I would change is that the zippered section is not sewed shut at the bottom. I will try and modify this myself since that makes the pocket harder to use!
I love the compartment on the side for wet/dirty clothes, what a fantastic idea. The whole bag feels so durable and yet very comfortable to hold either by the handles or using the shoulder strap. Definitely my go to bag now.
The bag is so well made, it feels sturdy and the zipper is strong and durable. It's clear a lot of care went into both the design and the construction, couldn't be happier!
i would love an extra layered long wise pocket with a zipper internally but overall this bag is awesome. also even more beautiful in person and is functional and durable.
